When you receive your camera from us at TimeLapseCameras.com we ensure each camera has been updated to the newest firmware.
In this video we walk you through step-by-step how to update your firmware.
iOS Connection Tip: In the event you have upgraded your iOS device and you have issues connecting to the camera. Apple recommends deleting the app and reinstalling it.
Afidus recommends completing this process connected directly to a power source via the supplied USB cable or after installing brand new, name brand batteries. The camera system will alert you if there is not enough power in the batteries for the update.

keep the camera off
open the app on your mobile device and tap “Firmware” in the bottom right corner

Select the correct version for your camera model and tap “Download Firmware”
The firmware will be downloaded to your device.

select settings from the flyout menu
Select FW Upgrade
Select OK to proceed

The camera will cycle through a series of beeps then a power cycle.
When the camera LED is solid green the firmware update is complete.
Ensure you are connected to the camera from the Wi-Fi Settings with a blue check mark and head back to app for full control of the camera.
Check your settings to ensure the firmware is complete.
Go ahead and schedule your time lapse as you normally would.
